MANALAPAN, N.J., Aug. 22, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- AccountAbilities, Inc. (Other OTC:ACBT), an established provider of financial personnel staffing services, professional marketing services and management consulting services to CPA and other professional firms, announced today that it will launch its new payroll/debit card division in September 2006. The new division will be known as "World Card".
World Card will primarily be a payroll-loaded debit card for value-added services and additional revenue streams, due to transaction-based services. The new World Card division will be a catalyst for many new products and services, including health benefits, prescription plans and other benefits not normally offered to temporary staffers and outsourced personnel. World Card intends to market itself, not only as a payroll card with benefits, but as a financial services card geared to what has traditionally been labeled as an "unbankable market". World Card will offer bill-pay services, prepaid phone minutes and money transfer services via multi-use card programs, for a fraction of the cost of the traditional money transfer network.
World Card will have its primary areas of focus geared toward traditional payroll services, human resource services, prepaid/loaded debit/ATM cards with multi-user capabilities, and in some cases, the ability to use branded Visa/MasterCard logos for credit purchases worldwide on a "pre-paid" basis.
