SONOMA, Calif., Aug. 31, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- 360 Global Wine Company (OTCBB:TSIX), whose mission is to produce and deliver premium wine, gourmet food and exquisite events that center on the authentic wine country lifestyle, and its wholly owned Viansa Winery and Italian Marketplace, have appointed Ron Goss, a talented enologist and winemaker, as Director of Winemaking.
"Attracting a winemaker with the creativity, talent, and leadership that Ron brings to our company is exciting," said Jake Shapiro, CEO of 360 Global Wine Company. "Ron's background, managing and creating some of the most commercially successful wines in the United States, brings a skill set we are eager to incorporate."
Prior to joining Viansa, Mr. Goss had served as Premium Winemaker at Foster's Wine Estates, and as an Associate Winemaker at Beringer's. During his distinguished career, Goss has been responsible for all aspects of the winemaking process, from the coordination of cellar, bottling and vineyard activities, and supervision of wine made at outside plants, through new product development, and promotion of wine brands.
Said Goss, "I'm thrilled to be joining a winery that blends state-of-the-art California winemaking technology with classic Italian techniques, and which has a reputation for producing world-class Italian varietals and proprietary blends."
Mr. Goss added, "Viansa creates wines unlike any others available here or in Italy, and has become one of America's premier producers of Italian varietal wines. I look forward to helping take the excellent reputation of the fine family of wines housed under 360 Global Wine to the next level."
