SAN DIEGO, Sept. 12, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- The board of directors of Sempra Energy (NYSE:SRE) today declared a quarterly dividend of 30 cents per share of common stock. The current dividend is payable Oct. 15, 2006, to shareholders of record on Sept. 28, 2006.
