WHY: Philly Chick Pictures is a Los Angeles-based,

develop and produce short films, feature films and
television pilots. Lewis' goal as a filmmaker is to
create projects that contribute to a greater cause and
involve the cast and crew to contribute toward this
larger purpose. Philly Chick's current project, Wake
(Starring Eric Etebari and David Chokachi), revolves
around suicide. As story research began, Lewis was
introduced to many organizations dedicated to suicide
prevention, education and awareness. These committed
people inspired Lewis and her cast and crew to create a
fundraising event to benefit the American Foundation for
              Suicide Prevention.
