Starting today, Robeco is launching a new brand identity through the bold text logo and brand descriptor Robeco, The Investment Engineers, which stands for commitment, consistency and expertise. It is Robeco's way of saying that it provides top-quality international asset management expertise and innovation.
Robeco is bidding farewell to the percent symbol and salmon color that identified the company for twenty years. It is being replaced with the robust use of the company name and a more modern turquoise color that accents it. This change in house style is Robeco's last step in aligning the company with the new strategic direction that it adopted a few years ago. The new house style addresses all clients, from traditional private clients to institutional and clients from the international world of finance.
Robeco's old logo dates back to the 1980s when the company's main focus was on the Dutch retail market. This has changed. Robeco has become increasingly active in Europe and the United States, with the Middle East and Japan steadily gaining in importance. In recent years, the focus has shifted from private clients to institutional clients and third-party distributors. In addition to the traditional equity and fixed income funds, alternatives such as hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, private equity and structured investment products have been added to the product line-up.
The pan-European advertising campaign, which targets the institutional and third-party distribution market, will be launched at the beginning of October 2006.
