MARLBOROUGH, Mass., Sept. 25, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cyphermint, Inc., a leading provider of secure electronic payment solutions, announced today that they have signed an agreement with Portal Access Direct LLC to partner on the development of a kiosk operating framework for Portal Access Direct's PulsePerks(tm) Program.
The Cyphermint and Portal Access Direct partnership will provide hospitals and clinics with a customized technology solution that provides its medical professionals access to the PulsePerks(tm) Program through its distributed network of kiosk portals. The portals are a user-friendly, convenient way for employees to access human resource services, order personal supplies and shop with selected (designated) merchant partners. The network will also be linked to the PulsePerks Card, which will provide additional benefits to the employees such as BillPay, PayCash Mobile(tm), access to the PulsePerks Mall and the Rewards Program. The PulsePerks Program currently has approximately 500 medical facilities targeted for deployment in the next twelve months.
