INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 2, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- ATA Airlines today announced its frequent flyers will now score more Points toward future flights and earn those Points much quicker than ever before. Among other enhancements, ATA Travel Awards Points are being doubled in some markets. Effective October 1, 2006, Travel Awards Members will earn additional Points for all completed Mexico and Hawaii itineraries, and earned Points will now expire after 24 months instead of 12 months. Longer Trips = More Points
Points for completed travel to Hawaii destinations are now doubled (i.e. 2000 points).
"We believe Travel Awards is now the most generous Frequent Flyer program available to today's savvy traveler," said ATA Senior Vice President-Scheduled Service, Josef Loew. Travel Awards Members who book at ata.com earn a free(a) domestic Companion Award ticket after as few as two (2) roundtrips!
Point Validity Extended
Travel Awards Members have asked for more time to earn and use their Points, and ATA has been listening. Members will now be able to keep their Points longer, 24 months instead of twelve. "We have been diligently working to transform Travel Awards into the premier airline travel program. We have recently added 10 new partners to the program, giving Members new Point earning opportunities. Plus, with these new enhancements, ATA has made it much EASIER for customers to enjoy Award travel to their favorite destinations," reports ATA Senior Manager-Loyalty Programs, Vicky Ogbogu.
