Long Island Board of Realtors(R) Raise a Lakeview Roof With Habitat for Humanity


LONG ISLAND, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 8, 2006 -- The Long Island Board of Realtors, Inc. (LIBOR) recently joined forces with Habitat for Humanity to build a house for a family that will be moving to the Lakeview community. This philanthropic effort is part of LIBOR's "We're More than Realtors®" campaign, coordinated by the Long Island Board of Realtors (LIBOR) and their Public Relations Committee, that showcases the support real estate agents provide to the local community and to nonprofit organizations throughout Long Island.

Habitat for Humanity has helped change the lives of more than 30,000 American families since its first U.S. affiliate was founded in San Antonio, Texas, in 1978.
