Cardtronics Financial Services Expands Leadership Team

Robert Colabrese and Bill Knoll to Lead Strategic Initiatives


HOUSTON, Dec. 14, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Cardtronics Inc., the largest non-bank operator of ATMs in the United States, announced the hiring of two senior executives within the Financial Services division. Robert Colabrese has joined Cardtronics as Senior Vice President of Sales, and Bill Knoll as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Product Management. The addition of both gentlemen continues to build the depth and strength of the Financial Services management team.

With more than twenty years of financial industry experience, Colabrese will be responsible for overseeing all of Cardtronics sales initiatives in the large and mid-level financial institution markets. Prior to joining Cardtronics, Colabrese enjoyed an impressive career with Global Axcess Corporation where he had responsibility for financial institution ATM branding and placement, corporate account and direct sales, and operations management. Colabrese holds an Associate's degree in Specialized Electronics Technology from the Penn Technical Institute of Technology.

Bill Knoll joins Cardtronics to strengthen strategic alliances and to launch new offerings within the Financial Services division. Knoll has over ten years' experience in the financial institution industry with primary focus in the business development arena. In addition, Knoll launched a successful business in the manufacturing of plastic packaging products that continues to thrive today. Knoll holds a master's degree in finance from St. Mary's University in Texas and an undergraduate degree in operations research from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado.
