* Media Coprocessor -- a breakthrough architecture.
At CES, Quartics will demonstrate the world's first
fully programmable media processor that performs
decoding, encoding and transcoding of all media
formats in real time. Quartics' media processor
dramatically boosts a computer's processing
capability to handle multiple proprietary HD media
formats, allowing them to be converted to any
preferred format, viewing size and resolution in
real time. This allows even mid-range PCs/laptops
to become HD media processing powerhouses.
* USB Video Monitor and Docking Stations. The
Quartics media decoder enables a PC to display to
devices of the users' choice via USB or wireless
connections. This decoder delivers DVD-quality
video and lossless graphics from PCs to TVs, HDTVs,
LCD monitors, and digital projectors. Soon,
consumers will be selecting monitors based on
whether or not the monitors are USB-enabled.
