Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals/World Health Energy to Utilize New Higher Yielding Biodiesel Production Process of Ultrasonication

Ultrasonication Process Significantly More Efficient Than Industry Standard Batch Reactors Process

NEW YORK, Jan. 12, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTCBB:APPI) and World Health Energy, Inc. announced that the company will be utilizing a more efficient biodiesel process known as ultrasonication. The higher yielding process will provide the company with production cost advantages.

Currently, biodiesel is produced primarily in batch reactors where required energy is provided by heating and mechanical mixing. However, ultrasonic processing is a more effective process to attain the required mixing while providing the necessary activation energy. Through the use of ultrasonication, a biodiesel yield in excess of 99% can be achieved in a remarkably short time duration of less than 5 minutes in comparison to one hour or more using conventional batch reactor systems. World Health Energy will utilize ultrasonication to benefit from the enhanced efficiency and superior end product quality compared to the standard batch reactors process.

Ultrasonic extraction can greatly accelerate extraction processes. Using an ultrasonic reactor, ultrasonic waves are used to create cavitation bubbles in a solvent material. When these bubbles collapse near the cell walls, it creates shock waves and liquid jets that cause those cells' walls to break and release their contents into the solvent. The solvent is processed into biodiesel.

the company is working towards the most immediate goal of closing on the $1.2 million financing previously announced for the construction of two bio-diesel plants slated for Kentucky and Florida. Upon closing on the financing, the company will provide details on the construction of the first biodiesel plant.

An 8-K for the merger with World Health Energy will be filed after the satisfaction of the closing conditions which include, without limitation, issuance and receipt of all consideration relating to the transaction and other customary closing conditions.
