New Science-Fiction Novel Tackles World Population, Terrorism and Mankind's Survival

EVERETT, Wash., Jan. 23, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Throughout history, mankind is known for destroying its neighbors as certain powers only intend to keep their own share of the world. In fact, it is part of human nature to compete and survive at the expense of others. Sometime in the future, the world may no longer be suitable for everyone. Travel in time to the futuristic world imagined by author Bobbie Kaald with the release of her explosive and gripping science fiction novel The Making of an Enemy, released by Xlibris.

Set in the future, The Making of an Enemy tells a story wherein Earth had become a hopelessly over populated sphere, and has sent out five ships to find new homes for the uncontrollable population. Unfortunately for the world, a deadly war is being waged and the only people who could survive are the passengers on the five ships. Generations later, a group of young people have formed a lasting friendship and an enterprise between them. These same people have found a vessel belonging to the group of marauding pirates that has been dealing out death to the luckless for years. Together they and the federation hope to bring an end to their reign. Will they be able to succeed? Only time can tell.
