In this new position, effective January 29, 2007, Strum will be responsible for overseeing all business operations, purchasing and contracts for the department. Strum previously was named by former Governor Jeb Bush to the South Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners, where he currently serves as Chairman. He will step down from the commission this week.
