The Belimo Group, a world leader in electrical actuators for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, can look back on a highly successful financial year in 2006. Net sales in Swiss francs rose by 16 percent to approximately CHF 325 million. Net sales in local currencies were up some 20 percent in Europe, 5 percent in the Americas and 15 percent in Asia/Pacific, which corresponds to a total increase of around 14 percent.
All in all the Group was again able to raise operating profitability, so a very good operating result can be expected.
Belimo expects growth to continue in 2007. Investments in research and development will remain high.
The Belimo Group will publish its definitive results and its 2006 annual report on April 2, 2007.
