Artificial Life Expands Into Japan, Hires Japanese Industry Veteran


HONG KONG, March 15, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Hong Kong-based Artificial Life, Inc. (OTCBB:ALIF), a leading provider of award-winning mobile 3G technology, games and applications, today announced its business expansion into Japan and the hiring of the games industry veteran, Mr. Kazutoshi Miyake, as its Director Business Development Japan.

Mr. Miyake has over 30 years of experience in international business development and management. In 1993, he became General Manager of Sega Enterprises Ltd., running Sega's operations in Europe, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific. He then became the CEO of Sega Europe Ltd. from 1994 to 2001. He has remained in the video games industry ever since, taking up the posts of non-executive board member of Andromeda Entertainment Ltd. (UK), Akaei Plc. (UK), Infogrames Entertainment SA (France), and Acclaim Entertainment (UK) from 2001 to 2003.

Mr. Miyake is currently also the CEO of Atari Japan Ltd.
