Asia Properties Completes 4:1 Forward Split


BELLINGHAM, Wash., May 2, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Asia Properties, Inc. (API) (Pink Sheets:ASPZ) today announced that it has completed its 4:1 forward split of its common shares.

Stockholders are encouraged to contact their brokers to confirm that they have received, or will receive, 3 additional dividend shares for every 1 share of ASPZ that they held on the payment date. Shareholders should note the adjustment in the stock price reflecting this split.

On May 1, 2007, API had 39,427,112 shares of common stock issued and outstanding and approximately 12,854,404 free trading shares in the float.

Additionally, all ASPZ shareholders of record on April 27, 2007, received one (1) Hertz Controller share for every two (2) ASPZ shares that they owned.
