New Covenant Church of Philadelphia is located 7500 Germantown Avenue.

Feel uplifted and restored as you experience the spirit filled worship of Divine Praise Music Ministry on Friday, June 8th. This inspirational ensemble began with five teenagers who met in the choir director's parents' living room for rehearsal. Since their inception in 1992, Divine Praise Music Ministry is a flourishing group of more than 20 young adults with melodic voices and angelic harmony. They attend various churches and have diverse backgrounds but, their purpose is the same -- ministry first.

On Friday, June 15th the series continues with Minister Henry Hall and New Dimensions of Worship. No matter the age or ethnic background, Henry Hall's praise and worship renditions will inspire you to sing praises from your position and not your condition. Hall began singing at the age of 10 in his church's 100 voice youth choir. Over the years Hall continued to become more musically endowed. While attending Rowan University in Glassboro, Hall acknowledged his music ministry. Henry has led praise and worship and shared the stage with such notables as R.W. Schambach, Martha Munizzi, and Vicki Winans. Hall's debut CD is entitled "It's Harvest Time."

Minister Henry Hall remarks, "This is my second year performing at the Friday Night Gospel Celebration at Penn's Landing and I can't wait to perform again this year. One of the really nice things about Friday Night Gospel Celebration is the fact that it draws people from different races, backgrounds, the young and the old." Hall continues, "In the times which we live, Gospel music is essential because it speaks to the heart of man and helps to renew our faith and restore those who may be broken in spirit. This is one the most well promoted free events in the city and I'm happy to be part of it."

Philadelphia native, Jameelia Drinks is sure to come forth in song and praise with passion on Friday, June 22nd. During her lifetime, Drink has experienced severe physical and mental abuse and several suicide attempts but, has used these experiences in testimony, song, and ministry to help others overcome. Drinks' self titled CD is expected to be released in the spring of 2008. The tracks on the CD will range from semi acoustic to a New Orleans gospel style montage featuring Philly's "Brass Heaven."
