The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Announces New PSA Campaign

ROSEMONT, IL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 21, 2007 -- Since bone, muscle and joint injuries affect people of all ages, it is not a surprise that musculoskeletal complaints were the number one reason people went to the doctor in 2004!

-- The goal of the eighth annual American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons' multimedia national public service advertising campaign is aimed at educating the public about joint health, communicating with your doctor, preventing seniors' falls, avoiding all-terrain vehicle accidents and providing appropriate calcium intake for children.

This year's campaign includes the following ads: five print, one television with 60-, 30- and 15-second versions, one 60- and 30-second radio, six 60-second joint replacement spots and 16 various 60-second musculoskeletal health radio spots. The print ads will be offered in both English and Spanish.
