Corporation), it has installed an RFID-based security system at a General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems facility in Quebec, Canada. This important installation marks the first defense-related application of a sub-system of AbsoluteSKY's powerful intelliTRACKER product suite that entered the market earlier this year.
Developed primarily to accurately track inventory at long-ranges and in real-time for the retail industry, intelliTRACKER comprises several modules and subsystems, one of which enables the tracking of personnel as they enter specific zones or restricted areas. Combining the inherent benefits of long range RFID with the system's deep software application, users of intelliTRACKER are able to receive instant alerts and detailed reports regarding the movements of personnel in security-sensitive environments.
