ENVIRON Opens Hong Kong Office, Expanding Asia Pacific Operations

ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwire - June 12, 2007) - Ewire -- Joyce S. Schlesinger, Senior Vice President of ENVIRON International Corp., is pleased to announce the appointment of David Yeung as Managing Principal responsible for the establishment and management of the firm's new office in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, People's Republic of China. David brings over 15 years of in-depth experience in environmental assessments for commercial, industrial, and public-sector clients. Prior to joining ENVIRON, David was the Managing Director of an international engineering firm responsible for the management and business development of the environmental and engineering consultancy services directly offered to Hong Kong SAR clients.

David is joined in the new Hong Kong office by three new Managers -- Calvin Chiu, Tony Cheng and Petula Sham -- high-calibre professionals with both private- and public-sector experience and expertise relevant to existing and emerging environmental issues in Hong Kong SAR. Highlights of the new Hong Kong staff's local experience include:

--  Assisted the Guangdong Provincial and Hong Kong SAR Governments in
    developing the regional Pearl River Delta air quality management plan, as
    well as formulating the Pearl River Delta 16-station regional air quality
    monitoring network.
    
--  Completed statutory submissions for land-use applications for most of
    the major developers, Urban Renewal Authority, Hong Kong Housing Authority,
    MTR Corporation, Kowloon Canton Railway Corporation, and utility companies.
    
--  Functioned as an Independent Environmental Verifier to supervise the
    environmental performance of construction contracts under the Environmental
    Impact Assessment Ordinance for major infrastructure facilities including
    Deep Bay Link, Shenzhen Western Corridor and Yuen Long Floodway Bypass.
