OverLand Traveler Opening Doors At Youth Wilderness Camps With HealthSport's Enlyten SportStrips

AMHERST, N.Y., July 5, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- HealthSport, Inc. (OTCBB:HSPO), a fully integrated developer, manufacturer and marketer of branded nutritional supplements in a one-of-a-kind edible film strip delivery system, announced today its wholly-owned subsidiary, Enlyten, Inc., has reached an agreement with OverLand Traveler to become an authorized distributor of Enlyten(tm) SportStrips(tm).

Enlyten SportStrips replace the electrolytes lost during vigorous workouts through a proprietary delivery system. This mode of absorption is very different from all electrolyte delivery predecessors. When placed between the cheek and gum, gastric absorption is bypassed speeding higher levels of electrolytes directly into the bloodstream. Not only does it dramatically improve hydration on a cellular level, but it also helps athletes to avoid the problems caused by excessive fluid consumption which is often associated with sports drinks. Known scientifically to be an extremely fast and efficient way to deliver drug actives into the bloodstream, buccal absorption bypasses the inherent drawbacks of gastric absorption, an Achilles heel for many athletes who struggle with fatigue, cramping and hydration issues.

"OverLand Traveler is a leader in supplying gear and services to the wilderness industry, and we are excited about being chosen by Enlyten SportStrips to represent them," said Braidy O'Neil, Managing Director of OverLand Traveler. "Dehydration is a serious problem for youth and adults who spend time or work in the outdoors under extreme conditions. The new technology that Enlyten has developed and tested under field conditions has proven to be extremely effective in helping to provide electrolyte replacement faster and more effectively than other products currently being used. We look forward to promoting Enlyten SportStrips and working with wilderness programs and the outdoor industry to improve their health and safety."

"Our partnership with OverLand Traveler is an exciting and unique opportunity that will add a new dimension in the distribution of our Enlyten SportStrips," said Gary Thomas, Vice President of Sales of Enlyten, Inc. "There are so many uses for our Enlyten SportStrips. Expanding our Enlyten branded products into the areas of outdoor activities (such as hiking and camping) is just the tip of the iceberg. The expertise and knowledge Overland Traveler has within these specialized camps and their related outdoor activities will expand our portfolio of end users. The best part of all is knowing that Enlyten SportStrips will truly be helping kids in a positive way with their overall experiences at these wilderness programs."
