RunTex Purchases Enlyten SportStrips for Distribution

Largest Texas Running Store to Offer Electrolyte Strips to Runners

AMHERST, N.Y., July 12, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- HealthSport, Inc. (OTCBB:HSPO), a fully integrated developer, manufacturer and marketer of unique and proprietary branded and private label edible film strip nutritional supplements and over-the-counter drugs, announced today that RunTex, Inc. has purchased Enlyten SportStrips for distribution at stores in Austin, Texas, as well as RunTex's web site.

RunTex, the 20-year-old running specialty store, and known as the largest running store in Texas, has 3 locations in Austin and an e-commerce store online. RunTex Events develops and services hundreds of runs, triathlons, duathlons and walks in the Central Texas region. As part of RunTex, Inc., RunTex Events helps build events that provide a platform to raise awareness and money for non-profits and community connection for the business sector. In their annual Runner's Choice Awards, Runner's World Magazine listed RunTex in the Top 50 U.S. Running Retailers as voted on by runners across all ten regions of the U.S.

"We are excited to have received an order from RunTex," said Gary Thomas, Enlyten, Inc. Vice President of Sales. "Not only does RunTex provide high quality goods to its customers, but they also educate people on the importance of a healthy lifestyle. With all of the different products in the market that aid in electrolyte replenishment, it truly says a lot that they chose to sell our product, and we are proud to be doing business with them."

Enlyten SportStrips replace the electrolytes lost during vigorous workouts through a proprietary delivery system. This mode of absorption is very different from all electrolyte delivery predecessors. When placed between the cheek and gum, gastric absorption is bypassed, speeding higher levels of electrolytes directly into the bloodstream. Not only does it dramatically improve hydration on a cellular level, but it also helps athletes to avoid the problems caused by excessive fluid consumption which is often associated with sports drinks. Known scientifically to be an extremely fast and efficient way to deliver drug actives into the bloodstream, buccal absorption bypasses the inherent drawbacks of gastric absorption, an Achilles heel for many athletes who struggle with fatigue, cramping and hydration issues.
