LOS ANGELES, Sept. 5, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Universal Detection Technology (OTCBB:UDTT) (www.udetection.com) a developer and marketer of early-warning monitoring technologies to protect people from bioterrorism, announced today that it has received its first purchase order for one of the products within the company's newly added line of radiological detection systems. The purchase order is for a dosimeter dedicated to simultaneous measurement of x, gamma, and beta radiations. It is small, ergonomic, compact, and rugged, and complies with international standards.
