The store had a soft opening on August 31 and just completed a very busy but successful holiday weekend. This location is in a strip mall that has not allowed a restaurant in its facilities in 16 years but made an exception for Unique Pizza and Subs with a unanimous decision from the commercial property landlord and existing tenants including Bed Bath and Beyond, Michaels Arts and Crafts Store, PetSmart, and more. This decision was based on the superior quality product, community involvement, and the great relationships formed over the last 10 years in Monroeville.
This new Monroeville location will not only deliver to its existing customer base of 32,810 residents and 14,935 workers in the Monroeville and Pitcairn areas, but will gain a new customer base of 6,917 residents and 2,753 workers in Wilkins Township. The abundance of businesses in the delivery area provides remarkable lunch time sales and the vast residential population provides amazing dinner time sales. This location will also be used as a training facility for franchisees as well as testing new equipment to be recommended to franchisees.
