Cardtronics, Inc. Files Registration Statement for Initial Public Offering


HOUSTON, Sept. 10, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Cardtronics, Inc., the world's largest operator of ATMs, announced today that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to an initial public offering of shares of its common stock. The offered shares will be sold by Cardtronics and certain stockholders of the Company. Cardtronics plans to use the net proceeds to repay indebtedness under its credit facility, for working capital and for other general corporate purposes. Cardtronics will not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares by selling stockholders.
