WHAT: The CDMA Development Group (CDG) (www.cdg.org) is hosting a pre-conference executive training program and workshop that explores CDMA2000 mobile broadband business opportunities. The training course will cover EV-DO concept for business professionals. The workshop will provide an overview of business opportunities in the AWS and 700 MHz frequency bands, the CDMA2000(r) evolution path, infrastructure and device availability, public safety services, and deployment scenarios. The workshop is part of the 2007 3G CDMA North America Regional Conference taking place in San Diego, California on October 8-10, 2007. WHO: The workshop will feature presenters from leading wireless companies including Airvana, Alcatel-Lucent, Cricket Communications, Huawei, Motorola, Nortel, Project MESA, QUALCOMM and ZTE. The CDMA Development Group is a trade association formed to foster the worldwide development, implementation and use of CDMA technologies. The more than 130 member companies of the CDG include many of the world's largest wireless carriers and equipment manufacturers.
