POMPANO BEACH, Fla., Sept. 26, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Garrett Pettingell has been named Chief Executive Officer of Blue Frog Solutions, a leading provider of technology solutions for the straight-through processing of life insurance and annuities. Mr. Pettingell was previously the CFO of Blue Frog Solutions.
Mr. Pettingell has a solid background in technology and management, having worked as the Chief Financial Officer of TeleComputing, one of the first Application Service Providers (ASPs). While CFO of TeleComputing, Mr. Pettingell engineered the spin-out of Apptix Inc. from TeleComputing. Prior to that, he was Head of Corporate Banking for Bank Austria, Moscow. Mr. Pettingell has an MBA from the Wharton School, an MA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University. Mr. Pettingell is a retired military officer with over 20 years in the Army National Guard (Special Forces). He and his wife Tamara and their children live in Ft. Lauderdale.
