medical-education unit, today announced five promotions and two new hires.

Promotions
Christine Archibald has advanced from vice president, publication
operations to vice president, medical education and publication services.
In her new position, Ms. Archibald will oversee the daily activities of the
editorial, project coordination and the medical affairs departments. Ms.
Archibald will also ensure each program component is completed within
established timelines to meet client needs.
David Murawski has been promoted from account manager, professional
relations to account director, professional relations. Mr. Murawski will be
responsible for leading account teams, managing client relationships and
providing strategic direction for the implementation of communications
initiatives. Mr. Murawski has been with HLS for two and a half years.
Jennifer Ostrow has been elevated from associate program director of
publication operations to publications director. In her new role, she will
plan, direct and monitor assigned publication plans and act as the liaison
between authors, clients and internal team members. Ms. Ostrow has been
with HLS for three and a half years.
Colleen Stanton has advanced from senior program director to group program
director. In her new position, Ms. Stanton will manage and oversee program
teams under her supervision, ensuring that client expectations are met.
Jaclyn Burkart has been promoted from associate program director to account
manager. Ms. Burkart will be responsible for day-to-day management of her
assigned accounts and building long-term client relationships. Ms. Burkart
has been with HLS for three years.
New Hires
Bela Engler joins HLS as a publications director. In this role, Ms. Engler
will act as the liaison between clients and internal team members. She will
also develop content for her assigned accounts and manage her team's
budgets and schedules. Prior to joining HLS, Ms. Engler was a senior
publications manager at Embryon, a medical communications company located
in Somerville.
Lisa Ryan, Ph.D., comes to HLS as a medical writer. In this position, Dr.
Ryan will be analyzing data and medical publications, and writing copy for
educational and promotional projects. Most recently, Dr. Ryan was an
assistant professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New
Jersey.
