On Friday, Oct. 26, members of the Anne's World Team attended the Pine Grove Public School in Oakville, Ontario, where a group of 12 girls, ages 9 to 13, were given the first preview of this secure, social networking site for girls in grades 1 through 8.
Anne's Diary employs state-of-the-art biometric fingerprint technology to prevent access by non-verified members. Inspired by the "Anne of Green Gables" novels, the website offers girls between the ages of 6 and 14 a secure environment in which to keep a private online diary and communicate with their peers around the world.
