SEATTLE, Nov. 1, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Andrews Space, Inc. announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Automated Controlled Environments, Incorporated (ACEi), a privately-held California corporation that develops fault-tolerant aerospace avionics and advanced control systems. Founded in 1997, ACEi is a leader in advanced aerospace avionics, robotics, and systems engineering and integration. ACEi hardware is currently flying in space on Bigelow's Genesis II spacecraft.

Located in Valencia, California, ACEi's facilities and staff will be integrated into Andrews' daily operations.
