Novell Canada's Chief Technology and Information Officer Applauds Annesdiary.com for Keeping Children Safe From Online Predators

Logica's Secure Website for Children to Launch On Nov. 14th

TORONTO, Nov. 5, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Logica Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:LGHL) and its subsidiary, Anne's World, today announced that its licensed website, annesdiary.com, the first social networking site for children to employ biometric technology, was given a positive review by Ross Chevalier, Novell Canada's Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer. Mr. Chevalier is also the founder of Internet Safety for Kids Canada, a non-profit group providing parents and teachers information and guidance on how to help children enjoy the incredible power of the internet and to stay safe at the same time.

In Novell Canada's recent technology newsletter (http://www.novellnews.ca/en/technology) Mr. Chevalier gave his support to the project saying:

"I believe our children should have the ability to explore the Internet without becoming targets for pedophiles and child opportunists. This is why Anne's Diary personally thrills me. It provides the necessary level of security to allow for a child to interact online, but in an environment that eliminates external threats."

Mr. Chevalier went on to note that the Internet threat vectors are not decreasing and it is very hard to catch the kind of predators who seek out children. "This is why I applaud Anne's Diary; its groundbreaking security and identity verification features will fully protect our children from online predators. It's a website that truly makes a difference," Mr. Chevalier said.

The team building Anne's Diary has leveraged some technology from Novell including SUSE Linux Enterprise, eDirectory, Access Manager and Novell Modular Authentication Services, along with fingerprint technology from 123ID and a biometric reader from Fujitsu.

"We are absolutely thrilled for the opportunity to introduce children to the powerful world of the internet in a safe and protected environment," said Emily Want, Chief Executive Officer of Anne's World, Inc. "Our main goal is to motivate young girls to explore their imaginations and make new friends around the world by creating a private online diary and sharing their experience through a safe and secure website."

Anne's Diary employs state-of-the-art biometric fingerprint technology to prevent access by non-verified members. Inspired by the "Anne of Green Gables" novels, the website offers girls between the ages of 6 and 14 a secure environment in which to keep a private online diary and communicate with their peers around the world.

Official launch date of the website is Nov. 14, 2007.
