SCANFIL PLC AND HELKAMA FORSTE OY NEGOTIATE ABOUT PRODUCTION COOPERATION        

Scanfil plc and Helkama Forste Oy negotiate to start production cooperation in  
Hungary. Planned cooperation consists manufacturing of sheet metal components   
and lease of production facilities from Scanfil Kft., which is the Hungarian    
affiliate of Scanfil plc. If realized the cooperation could have significant    
effect to the financial result of Scanfil Kft. after year 2008. Parties intend  
to close negations by the end of the year 2007.
