The Greenbrier Resort Deploys LGC In-Building Wireless System to Enhance Guest Experience in Historic Property
InterReach Fusion(R) In-Building Wireless System Upgrades Premium Resort's Technology Image With Pervasive Cellular Coverage

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - November 26, 2007) - LGC
Wireless, the leading supplier of In-Building Wireless
solutions and Network Systems to the Fortune 500, today announced that The
Greenbrier, an award-winning, ultra-luxury resort in West Virginia's
Allegheny Mountains, has deployed LGC Wireless' multi-carrier InterReach Fusion® in-building wireless system to deliver
strong and pervasive cellular services throughout its indoor facilities.
The Greenbrier has built a sterling reputation for outstanding hospitality
since 1778, but the National Historic Landmark had fallen behind in
offering up-to-date technology services for its guests. Due to its thick
concrete walls and hilly location of the property, cellular signals didn't
penetrate some areas of the building's interior. Based on a recommendation
from a leading cellular carrier, The Greenbrier purchased the InterReach
Fusion system and had LGC Wireless deploy it while the facility was closed
for renovations during the first quarter of this year.
"The Fusion system has been a great addition to the property because it
helps put us on a technical par with other luxury resort and conference
venues," said Mike Keatley, director of IT at The Greenbrier. "With this
system in place, we can provide the best cellular voice and data coverage
for our guests in all areas."
The InterReach Fusion system deployed at The Greenbrier supports multiple
cellular carriers with a single set of hubs and antennas. It includes a
Main Hub located in the facility's data center, two expansion hubs deployed
in wiring closets, and a dozen remote antennas. Currently, U.S. Cellular
offers service through the system, Verizon Wireless has agreed to deploy
coverage, and Keatley anticipates that other carriers in the area of White
Sulphur Springs will also come on board.
"World-renowned properties like The Greenbrier choose LGC Wireless
in-building solutions more than any other brand because they deliver high,
uniform coverage in even the most challenging environments," said John
Spindler, vice president of marketing for LGC Wireless. "As the
market-leading provider of in-building wireless systems for the hospitality industry, LGC delivers quality cellular connections for hotel
guests on six continents."
