Virgin America flight 317 from New York to Los Angeles gave lucky guests the chance to see the latest Victoria's Secret PJ fashions just in time for holiday shopping, with an in-flight runway show in the aisle. The PJ fashion show for the jet set is the first ever to take place at 35,000 feet. Guests on the regularly scheduled commercial flight were met at the Gate at JFK with a send-off reception with the supermodels. Guests were encouraged to don their PJs for the evening party flight.
During the flight, a few lucky guests received "supermodel" makeovers courtesy of Victoria's Secret using Very Sexy Makeup, available in stores now. Guests on this special Virgin America flight also received free Victoria's Secret PJs and runway cosmetic totes filled with travel sizes of the supermodels' favorite Victoria's Secret beauty products. The PJ party go-ers stayed up late, finally ending the evening with a movie hand-picked by the supermodels.
Members of Virgin America's EleVAte loyalty program were offered a first shot at buying tickets on this one-of-a-kind experience. Three lucky sweepstakes winners also flew in style with the Victoria's Secret supermodels.
As the official "Airline of the Angels," Virgin America earlier this month flew 27 supermodels on Runway Angel from New York to Los Angeles, for the lingerie retailer's annual fashion show. The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will be broadcast Tuesday, Dec. 4 (10:00 PM ET/PT), on the CBS television network.
