NewMarket Technology, Inc. Fourth Quarter Sales Momentum Includes Innovative Municipal Wireless Broadband Contract in Brazil
Wireless Project to Deliver Broadband Connectivity to Curitiba University in Parana, Brazil and Surrounding Neighborhoods

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - December 10, 2007) - NewMarket Technology, Inc. (OTCBB : NMKT ) today
announced a contract with Associcao Paranaense De Cultura (APC) to deliver
a municipal broadband wireless solution to Curitiba University and the
surrounding neighborhoods. The APC is a Brazilian company that manages
universities, hospitals and radio stations. The contract between APC and
NewMarket is intended to build the Curitiba solution as a pilot to be
subsequently expanded to additional cities throughout the Brazilian state
of Parana.
NewMarket traditionally has experienced very strong sales in the fourth
quarter. Last week, the Company announced approximately $7.5 million in
additional new contracts contributing to Newmarket's current fourth quarter
sales momentum. The Company reported $63.5 million in revenue for the nine
months ended September 30, 2007 and $2.8 million in net income.
Year-to-date revenue has increased 19% compared to the same period last
year and net income has increased 21%.

NewMarket and APC have worked closely with Companhia Paranaense de Energia
(COPEL) www.copel.com, the local provider of Electricity and

The project is scheduled to be completed by February 29th, 2008.
