Stockholm, Sweden - Net Insight has been selected to supply Nimbra equipment for a national Digital Terrestrial TV and Mobile TV network
The new customer is the leading broadcaster and satellite operator in an Asian country and is part of the country's largest telecom group. The customer will officially launch its Digital Terrestrial TV and Mobile-TV services, based on DVB-T/H, in the beginning of 2008.
The initial order for this project includes Nimbra nodes to cover the capital and a few additional transmitter sites for distribution of DVB-T and DVB-H signals. The project has a potential for additional Nimbra nodes along with the planned network expansion in conjunction with the customer's service rollout during the first quarter this year.
The Nimbra equipment will be delivered in the first quarter 2008.
