SCP Worldwide Secures Multiple Partners for 2010 South American World Cup Qualifying Tournament Property

JumpTV to Become Equity Partner; Tournament Now Available in Over 70 Million U.S. TV Households and 60 Million Broadband Customers; Other Key Partners Include ESPN, iN Demand Networks, DirecTV and DISH Network


NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - January 16, 2008) - SCP Worldwide (SCP), the New York based sports, media and entertainment company, today announced in connection with its prestigious 2010 South American World Cup Qualifying tournament (SAWCQ) property that it has secured a financial partnership as well as a new media distribution deal with JumpTV (AIM: JTV) (TSX: JTV); television distribution agreements with iN Demand Networks, DIRECTV® and DISH Network®; and a broad based programming, production and marketing agreement with ESPN.

The deals will make the highly sought-after property available to over 70 million U.S. TV households and 60 million broadband customers. Additionally, SCP and JumpTV are currently negotiating with other distributors for related tournament programming as well as additional broadband, mobile and sponsorship packages.

In connection with the property, JumpTV, a leader in streaming premier sports events and international television over the Internet, has purchased a minority equity partnership from SCP and as a part of such will be the exclusive internet pay-per-view distributor on www.jumptv.com.

ESPN, "The Worldwide Leader in Sports", will now produce, distribute and assist SCP in marketing the property and will air, through ESPNDeportes, select live and replay games each round. The deal also features an extensive package of Friendly matches in 2008 and 2009 showcasing South American teams.

DIRECTV® and DISH Network® satellite TV service have obtained the satellite residential and commercial pay-per-view rights while iN Demand Networks has obtained the cable residential and commercial pay-per-view rights.

The tournament continues in June 2008 with 70 games scheduled to be played over 14 rounds (five games per round) through November 2009 and features the 10 South American Federations, who have won more World Cup's in the past 13 tournaments than any other continent and includes such world powerhouses -- Brazil and Argentina. JumpTV will offer all 70 games, while iN Demand Networks, DIRECTV® and DISH Network® will offer 56 with ESPNDeportes broadcasting 14.

Pricing for the pay-per-view packages will be determined by each provider at a later date.
