NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - April 8, 2008) - Mochila, the first global online media marketplace for text, photo,
and video content, and Pringo,
the leader in empowering online communities, today announced a new
partnership to integrate Mochila's content library into the Pringo
Dashboard. This strategic relationship will allow Pringo clients' Web sites
to easily access and publish Mochila sourced content, helping to drive
pages views and increase advertising revenue.
Mochila will provide Pringo client Web sites access to free rights-managed
content from all of the top brand name publishers across several verticals,
including news, health, sports and entertainment. In addition, the
agreement will enable Pringo's clients to leverage Mochila's syndication
marketplace to increase the distribution of their own content to Mochila's
growing network of more than 3500 publishers.
"We're excited to partner with Pringo and provide its social networking
platform clients this opportunity to build their business with great
content," said Keith McAllister,
CEO of Mochila, Inc. "By integrating with Pringo's dashboard, Mochila will
make it easy for Pringo clients to access the world's greatest supply of
high-quality content. This is just one more way Mochila is creating value
for our content partners and publishers with the free ad-supported
distribution of content."
Pringo offers a complete social networking and media sharing platform
allowing clients to effectively build an integrated online community around
its existing user base, carving out their individual identity online.
Mochila will integrate its marketplace interface into the Pringo dashboard;
from there, Pringo clients will be able to search, source and publish
content of their choice to their Pringo controlled pages via RSS feed or
API.
"Today's partnership with Mochila allows us to provide even greater value
and additional options to our clients," said Majid Abai, CEO of Pringo.
"Mochila's content library includes some of the biggest publishers in the
industry, which our customers can use to either access content to publish
