(Nasdaq:NDAQ) Chief Executive Officer Bob Greifeld will be honored today by the National Italian American Foundation for his accomplishments with a "Special Achievement Award in Business." The award will be given to Mr. Greifeld at the National Italian American Foundation's (NIAF) East Coast Gala this evening in New York City.
Greifeld leads the world's largest exchange company which delivers trading, exchange technology and public company services across six continents. With over 3,900 companies, it is number one in worldwide listings among major markets.

Mr. Greifeld's grandfather, Felice Cafasso, emigrated from Italy's Campania region at the age of 14.
