SAS Group's April traffic figures 

· SAS Group's traffic increased by 17.4% during April and seat capacity was up
by 22.1% vs 2007.
· SAS Group carried 2.9 million passengers in April, up 17.9% vs 2007. 
· Total load factor was down 2.8 p.u. to 69.1%.

Group market trends and yield development

Yield for Scandinavian Airlines in March was down 10.8%. For April 2008 the
change in yield is expected to be positive by approximately 5% vs last year,
positively affected by the Easter holiday occurring in March this year.  Average
March/ April yield is expected to be down by approximately 5% The SAS Group is
currently implementing measures - Profit 2008  - to secure the result
development in 2008 in light of the record high fuel prices. The measures
comprises both revenue enhancing and cost measures totaling 1,1 SEK billion.

As part of these measures SAS has now introduced fuel surcharges on short and
medium haul routes. 

In addition the Group will take 11 aircraft out of service from the autumn 2008.
The program is running according to set out plan.  

The market is still characterized relatively by good demand and passenger
growth. There are still uncertainties regarding the future macroeconomic
development as well as the competitive situation.

Intercontinental traffic increased strongly by 17.8% in April and the load
factor was up 6.2 p.u. SAS Group European traffic increased by 16.9% and load
factor was down 5.6 p.u. Widerøe's traffic increased by 21% with increased load
factor. airBaltic and Blue1's traffic increased by 18.8% and 2.1% respectively
but with lower load factors.
