DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - June 3, 2008) - NewMarket Technology, Inc. (OTCBB : NMKT ) today
announced the Company's Latin American subsidiary UniOne has been invited
to participate in Oracle's "FY09 Global Kick Off" scheduled for June 10-12,
2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. UniOne has been invited to participate after
being recognized as one of Oracle's Top 100 partners in Latin America.
NewMarket has experienced strong sales growth in Latin America, in part
through the Company's subsidiary UniOne and their success as an Oracle
partner in the region. UniOne has recently implemented or is implementing
several Oracle based projects for several major corporations to include:
-- A multi-continent project with Anglo American, a global mining
leader, to implement Oracle's Hyperion Planning solution.
-- Recent contract with Movistar, a
regional mobile telephone operator with more than 126 million customers, to
implement Oracle's Hyperion Business Intelligence Solution.
-- Recently completed Oracle Hyperion project for the Chile Ministry of
