Alfa Laval wins SEK 60 million order in China

Alfa Laval - a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid
handling - has received an order for the unique Alfa Laval Packinox plate heat
exchanger from a petrochemical company in China. The order value is about SEK 60
million. Delivery is scheduled for 2009.

“During the second quarter this year China has taken over the position from the
US as Alfa Laval's biggest market,” says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the
Alfa Laval Group. “The demand from the petrochemical industry and refineries
remains on a high level.”

Did you know that Alfa Laval's order intake in China has grown with 430 percent
between year 2000 and 2007 and that China represented 12 percent of Alfa Laval's
total order intake in 2007, or about SEK 3.3 billion.
