Peab Industri receives order from LKAB 

Peab Industri has been commissioned to carry out transport works at LKAB´s
facilities in Svappavaara. The work comprises the handling of raw materials and
additives as well as finished goods. The duration of the agreement is four years
with a possibility of a prolongation for an additional four. The yearly sales
value is estimated at approximately 50 MSEK.

Work on the planned mining activities at Svappavaara is also included as an
option. If this option is exercised in 2009, Peab Industri will also be
responsible for necessary transport services for mining. 

“With this agreement we have a good basis for growth in the important machinery
and transport services market in Malmfälten,” says K-G Karlsson, deputy CEO of
Peab Industri. 

Peab Industri engages in machinery and transport activities under the Cliffton
trademark. In 2007, activities were set up in Norrland, where the company
operates in Boden, Luleå and Åre.
