Peab builds a forensic psychiatry nursing institution in Vänersborg

Peab has been commissioned to build a forensic psychiatry nursing institution in
Vänersborg. Peab received the order from Västfastigheter and the value of the
contract is around SEK 500 million.
The facility will consist of eight buildings containing six nursing wards, a
building for activities, assessments and work training as well as a building for
entering the facility, offices and administration. All the units will be placed
in a circle so that the buildings create a perimeter barrier to protect the
public and society.
This is a partnering contract. Construction will commence in August 2008 and is
expected to be completed in the autumn of 2011.
