Furniture Brands Names Interim Supply Chain Leader

ST. LOUIS, June 13, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Furniture Brands International (NYSE:FBN) today named Dan Stone, Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, as interim leader of the company's supply chain organization. Mr. Stone replaces Mike McBreen, who has chosen to leave the company.

"We thank Mike for his contributions to the development and execution of our strategic plan," said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ralph P. Scozzafava.
