BOZEMAN, Mont., June 23, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The Montana State University Bobcats have selected FieldTurf for Bobcat Stadium. This announcement was jointly made by FieldTurf Tarkett CEO Joe Fields and Montana State University Athletic Director Peter Fields. The Bobcats, who have been playing on a natural grass surface since 1893 at their old stadium and the current Bobcat Stadium, will have FieldTurf installed in time for the 2008 season.
Montana State becomes the second school in the Big Sky Conference to have FieldTurf installed on campus. The Portland State Vikings opted for FieldTurf in 1998 and again in 2007.
