and most importantly, with people.
Today, Cisco announced three new corporate and technology initiatives:
1. Green: Cisco states goal to reduce its global greenhouse gas (GhG)
emissions 25 percent by 2012.
2. Global Talent: Cisco's approach to talent acquisition and enhancing
the IT profession's career opportunities so they can lead the way into
the Web 2.0 world and beyond.
3. Virtualization: The increasing roles application delivery and data

"Cisco Live! represents a major intersection where customers
from many industries meet to collaborate with Cisco and each other on a
variety of topics involving IT and our connected world. This
year's event revolves around the opportunities for collaboration, and it
is not just about technology anymore. We will explore the new environment
for collaboration that leads to innovation, and how we as IT professionals,
customers and global communities will be working differently together in
the next decade. With the rapid growth of video and adoption of
collaborative applications at work, at home, and in between, sharing
experiences on how to harness the power and opportunity of collaboration
has never been more important. It has never been more human. At Cisco
Live!, you'll see why."
