Peab Industri acquires Finnish gravel company and establishes a new ready-mixed
concrete plant in Helsinki

Peab Industri has acquired YN Sora OY which produces and sells gravel in the
Turku-Helsinki area. The operations had sales of SEK 30 Million in 2007. The
company will provide gravel to Peab Industris´ factories in the area and also
deliver to external customers.

“The acquisition of YN Sora is an important step for us. This means that we will
be established within gravel- and rock products in Finland which will strengthen
our competitiveness in the production of ready-mixed concrete as well. Our
objective is to in general have our own supply of raw material for our local
production units,” says CEO of Peab Industri Mats O Paulsson.

Peab Industri has also started the establishment of a new concrete plant in
Kirkonummi, outside Helsinki, which will be in production during the fourth
quarter 2008. The investment will broaden Peab Industris´ market area within
ready-mixed concrete. The investment amounts to about SEK 25 Million.
