SANTA MONICA, CA--(Marketwire - July 10, 2008) -
iMedia International, Inc. (
PINKSHEETS:
IMED), a provider of
digital entertainment content for the publishing industry, today announced
that it has signed its first
iReporting licensing agreement
with
Precise/Full Service
Media, an Ontario, Calif.-based multimedia replication, packaging,
fulfillment and distribution company. The multi-million optical disc volume
agreement will provide Precise/FSM's customers the ability to better
understand when, how and for how long people are using their CDs and DVDs.
In June, iMedia announced iReporting, a proprietary CD-ROM and DVD audience
reporting and tracking system, iReporting, was available as a standalone
product to independent CD-ROM and DVD producers and replicators across the
country. Precise/FSM, which manufactures millions of DVDs, DVD-ROMs, CD and
CD-ROMs each year for publishers worldwide, will offer iReporting on its
multimedia optical discs, which will provide real time information about
individual metrics on usage and click-thrus. iReporting does this without
the use of cookies or spyware and without collecting personal end-user
information.
"With iReporting, the millions of discs that we manufacture, package and
ship each year become even more important to our customers' marketing
strategies," said Robert Miller, president of Precise/FSM. "Our customers
will now be able to track how their discs are being used and what
components of the discs' contents are driving interest and traffic to the
Web or simply not working. The ability to enhance marketing messaging and
content based on real customer feedback and analytics will be a great
benefit to our customers. We see iReporting as becoming a key selling point
and a significant benefit for choosing our services."
"We knew that iReporting would be well-received by independent multimedia
disc
producers and replicators, and we are excited to announce our first
contract just a few short weeks after we announced the general availability
of the solution," said Henry Williamson, chief executive officer of iMedia
International. "The ability to understand in real-time how people are
interacting with the discs will help companies to better understand their
target audience and the return on investment of their direct marketing
campaigns. There is an incredible demand for the type of data we are able
to produce with iReporting, and we anticipate announcing a number of
iReporting licensing agreements over the coming months."
From iReporting's Web-based interface Precise/FSM's customers will have
access to a variety of audience activity tracking data, sorted by time of
day, zip code, city and/or state, including:
-- When a consumer puts the disc into the computer;
-- How long the disc is watched;
-- What content the consumer looks at or watches the most or least;
-- What advertisements have been viewed; and
-- What web links have been clicked.
