Hughes Hubbard & Reed Selects Juma to Design, Deploy and Manage Global Converged IP Network

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - July 22, 2008) - Juma Technology Corp. (OTCBB: JUMT), a leading IP Convergence and systems integration company, today announced that the international law firm of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP (Hughes Hubbard) signed a multi-year contract with Juma for the architecture, implementation and support of an integrated voice and data network.

Hughes Hubbard, one of the most distinguished law practices in the world, currently maintains offices in New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Miami, Jersey City, Paris and Tokyo, supporting over 30 specialized practice areas.

Juma designed and deployed a secure and redundant converged voice and data architecture for the firm's seven offices. The fault-tolerant solution features an Avaya voice communications platform and a Cisco data network.

The Hughes Hubbard architecture includes over 1,000 Avaya 9640 Gigabit color-phones and dual mirrored servers with critical reliability. All locations are connected via the Hughes Hubbard WAN, enabling all locations to be interconnected and gain the advanced features and functionality operating at the main New York City site.

Taking into consideration the firm's large pool of blackberry users and mobile workforce, the new solution incorporates Microsoft Office Communicator (MOC) 2007 integration with the Avaya Communications Manager (CM) to enable true Fixed-Mobile Convergence (FMC). This is an additional integration between communication carrier services and the firm's enterprise network.

Juma implemented all new Cisco switches and chassis in five of the offices, including a new Cisco 10 gigabit core and distribution switches in the NYC office.

Critical reliability, dial plan transparency and full system feature functionality in the event of a WAN fracture are all essential elements of the new converged network for Hughes Hubbard.
